Meet the Cast

Alphabetical by Last Name

Amanda Abright (OLIVIA) is thrilled to be joining another Haven Arts production. Favorite past shows include CHICAGO, THE 39 STEPS, ARSENIC & OLD LACE, DORIAN GRAY, TARTUFFE, THE LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, HENRY V, AS YOU LIKE IT, CYMBELINE, and THE LADY DEMANDS SATISFACTION. Come see her original mystery dinner show every month at The Blind Finch speakeasy in Spring, TX…tickets available by following The Blind Finch on Facebook or Instagram.  Amanda would like to thank her wonderful husband John for his patience and support during rehearsals and always.

Karielle Lorien Barnes (Child) is in 3rd grade and loves to sing, dance, and write stories. She has previously appeared as Daisy Armstrong in Murder on the Orient Express (Haven Arts Theatre), Young Sophie in Mamma Mia (The Players Theater Company), and The Fairy Queen in the Dance in the Fairy Ring Gala (Haven Arts Theatre).

Gracie (Antonia) is a junior at Covenant Christian School. She has been pursuing the performing arts for ten years, and has loved every moment of it. She is extremely grateful for her role, and prays she doesn’t fall into the pond.

Laura Jo Coccimiglio (Sir Toby Belch)
This is Jo’s third Spring Shakespeare production with Haven Arts and she is thrilled to be back in such a fun role and in such a gorgeous new venue.   Jo fell in love with Shakespeare in her very first production back in middle school – where she played Feste in Twelfth Night.    She is now THRILLED to tackle Sir Toby, a character that embodies all the zaniness and wordplay that is Shakepeare’s signature.   Some of Jo’s favorite roles include Charles Dickens (Dickens Abridged), Monsieur Bouc (Murder on the Orient Express), and Jacques (As You Like It) with Haven Arts – Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Chorus (Henry V), Kate (Taming of the Shrew) and Big Bad Wolf/Scrooge (Fairy Tale Christmas Carol) with Points North.   Jo would like to thank her family, especially her spouse Mark, for always supporting her dreams.
Now, in the words of SIr Toby “Shall we make the welkin dance indeed? Shall we rouse the night-owl in a catch that will draw three souls out of one weaver? Shall we do that?”

Melissa Cummins (Captain/Fabian) returns to a Haven Arts Shakespear play after playing “Eurydice” in Antigone, “Cornelius” in Cymbeline,” “Cleante” in Tartuffe, a member of the Fezziwigs in Dickens Abridged, a “Haggard Woman” in The Picture of Dorian Grey, and the Princess in Murder on the Orient Express for HAT. Other recent roles include “Chris” in Calendar Girls, “Lady Clapham” in Something Rotten, and “Berthe” in Pippin. When not acting she is a musicology professor at SHSU and Lone Star-UP. Enjoy the show!

Christopher Eden (Sebastian) did not write a bio, but would like to profusely thank Amy K Barnes for including him in the program anyway.

Wesley Eden (Officer) did not write a bio either, but Haven Arts Theatre is thrilled to have him join the cast for the first time.

Malia Hadley (Curio)

This is Malia’s first show with Haven Arts Theatre. Her experience had been one in a lifetime. Diving into the charter of Curio has taught her a lot about character analysis and has helped her grow exponentially as an actress. Malia would like to thank her family for always supporting her dreams.

Dina Havranek (Feste) is delighted to perform for the first time with Haven Arts Theatre. Previous Shakespeare roles include Mistress Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor, Helena in Alls Well that Ends Well and Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew. She was most recently seen as Mrs. Peacock in Clue at the Crighton Theatre in Conroe.

Shawn Havranek (Malvolio) is pleased to add another overstuffed buffoon to his impressive resume of narcissists and indulgent idiots. Previous examples include Petruchio from Taming of the Shrew, Iachimo of Cymbeline fame, Bottom from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the immortal Falstaff from The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing. He has been an enthusiastic audience member for Haven Arts other Shakespeare in the park productions and is overjoyed to work with such a talented group of actors and director. Thank you all for being so welcoming.

“Will Larsen (Orsino) is a fool in months other than April and for reasons all his own. In spite of HISD’s intervention, Will claims to have increased his report card grades by one letter, and his shoe size by one and a half, over the course of the 2024-25 school year. He is grateful to Haven Arts for continuing to resist his arrested development across such shows as Cymbeline (Director), Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood At Nite (Graffiti Punk), Disney’s live action adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird (2nd Mockingbird), and Supply Chain! The Musical [coming 2027].”

Liz Larson (Maria) is an actor, writer, and occasional a-hole for hire (a/k/a trial attorney) who lives in Houston with her rescue dog Scout. Her training as an actor includes short courses with The Atlantic Acting School, Shakespeare & Company, and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She’s performed as an improviser at Station Theater for the last seven years, most recently with her all-female troupe Boobytrap. She’s excited to make her Haven Arts debut in Twelfth Night.
Her recent credits include the independent feature Bailey’s Voice (Jamie) with Magic Fire Productions, The Deer and the Antelope Play (Kenetta) at Theatre Southwest, Twelfth Night (Fabian) at Shakespeare in the Shade, and Treasure Island (Squiress Trelawney) with Creative Movement Practices. She also writes a Substack newsletter blending Shakespeare criticism and sketch comedy called “Shakespeare Said it Better.”

Paula Romo Rabell (Viola)

This is Paula’s second show with Haven Arts Theatre and she could not be more excited to be back. You may have seen her in Haven Art’s previous production of The Lady Demands Satisfaction as Luitger. Paula is thrilled to be playing Viola in Twelfth Night. It is a dream role of hers. Other recent roles include: Jem Hawkins in CMP’s Treasure Island, Silvius in Falcon’s Eye Theatre’s As You Like It, and will soon appear in Stagework’s The Odd Couple (female ver.) as Renee. She would like to thank her family for their endless support. 🙂

Wayne Wilden (Andrew Aguacheek) always alliterative representative roles: Henry Higgins, Willy Wonka, Sheriff Scheider (All that Jaws), Tamalalia troupe  (8 years at IBP), Gay Gerbil (Keith Reynolds’ Nuts and Volts). Currently creating various villians & victims at Dinner Detective Murder Mysteries.

Artistic Team

Jared (Director) is absolutely thrilled to have directed this dynamic cast for this latest show with Haven Arts Theatre. 12th Night is one of his favorite Shakespeare plays and he loves how much there is to say while presenting it with humor, slapstick and a touch of chaos. He hopes you enjoy the show! Big thanks to his wonderful wife and children for all their love and support.

Megan Jones (Stage Manager) is a teacher of the visually impaired at a local school district.  She has taught special education for over 20 years.  She has enjoyed helping behind the scenes in community and high school theaters for 11 years.  I am honored to be a part of Haven Arts Theatre and to be surrounded by such extremely talented and genuine people.
